KPK Summons Former Aide of Wahyu Setiawan as Witness for Harun Masiku

TEROBOSHUKUM.CO.ID –  Indonesia. he Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned the former aide to former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan, Rahmat Setiawan Tonidaya.

KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika explained that Rahmat will be questioned as a witness in the alleged bribery in the interim replacement (PAW) process that ensnared the former PDIP legislative candidate who is currently on the run, Harun Masiku.

“Examination of witnesses related to alleged bribery in the management of DPR RI Members 2019 – 2024 at the KPU, for suspect Harun Masiku on behalf of RST,” said Tessa in a written statement, Tuesday (29/4/2025).

Apart from Rahmat, KPK investigators also examined a private employee, Sri Muliani Dewiningsih, at the Red and White Building, South Jakarta.

“The examination was carried out at the KPK’s Red and White Building,” he said.

Previously, Rahmat had been a witness in the bribery case trial that ensnared PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto on Friday (25/4/2025).

Rahmad’s statement was investigated in relation to the sting operation (OTT) carried out by the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) against Wahyu at Soekarno Hatta Airport until the meeting with Hasto.

In this case, the Corruption Eradication Committee has not yet arrested Harun Masiku, who has been on the run for years for bribing Wahyu and former Bawaslu RI member Agustiani Tio.

However, two new facts were revealed about the fugitive. First, a meeting with former convict in the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) corruption case, Djoko Tjandra in Malaysia.

In addition, he is also said to have shown a photo with PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri and former Supreme Court (MA) Chief Justice Hatta Ali to former KPU RI Chairman Arief Budiman. (√)
